American Heart Association/American Stroke Association

Somewhere in the world, someone has a stroke every two seconds. What if learning a song could help save that person’s life? That’s the idea behind the American Heart Association/American Stroke Association’s World Stroke Day campaign. Celebrities, choirs and voices next door are invited sing and share their favorite F.A.S.T. song to end stroke. American Stroke Association has written the lyrics for the F.A.S.T. song and offered several demos of a tune for it. Everyone is invited to learn the F.A.S.T. song in their favorite style and share it with friends and family on World Stroke Day. The community is encouraged to sing and record their own performance using the soundtracks or Karaoke videos, or write their own tune to the lyrics provided. Music videos with original vocals or lip syncing performances are encouraged as well! Whether you do something original with the F.A.S.T. song or simply share your favorite F.A.S.T. song video from www.StrokeAssociation.org/worldstrokeday, everyone can “sing to end stroke”. Be sure to use #singFAST and be part of the conversation.
