Lithuanian Stroke Association


Ministry of Health of the Republic of Lithuania, together with members of Lithuanian Stroke Association will hold events to commemorate World Stroke Day on October 29th, 2014. Various educational events will take place across Lithuania:
- a public conference in the Parliament of the Republic of Lithuania to commemorate World Stroke Day will be held;
- an open day event will take place in Vilnius University Hospital Santariškės Clinics: multidisciplinary approach to stroke management will be emphasized and public lectures will be delivered by Neurologists, Rehabilitation Physicians, Geneticists, and Interventional Radiologists;
- various open day events, public lectures, and stations for blood pressure checks and stroke risk factor education will take place in hospitals and mass-meeting places across the country, including Kaunas, Klaipėda, Šiauliai, and Panevėžys.
