Our patient organisation is planning a range of activities for the World Stroke Day. Their purpose is to highlight the seriousness of stroke. A press conference will be held in Prague on 23 October. Among the participants there will be Czech leading doctors and a number of patients. A website with information on stroke www.protimrtvici.cz will be launched on 29 October. Information on stroke risk factors, treatment and prevention will be posted on the website. Moreover, there will be a leaflet distribution campaign in the shopping centres of the five biggest towns in the Czech Republic.
