Concept One: “1 in 6” photo album

The photo tear represents the sixth person who has had stroke, i.e., “ 1 in 6” and hence is no longer in the picture. Family and friendships are torn apart because of stroke. Relationships are destroyed and shattered... only memories remain.

Concept Two: “1 in 6” faded image

The faded image of a face signifies the occurrence of stroke. An important objective of the campaign is to put a “face” to stroke. Behind the “1 in 6” public health statistic are people who at one time, were someone’s sister, brother, wife, husband, daughter, son, partner, mother, father… friend. They did exist and were loved.
