We are a team from College Of Medical Sciences Teaching Hospital, Chitwan, the first Neurology training institution in Nepal. We are planning the following events.

Last year we had confined ourselves to a hospital-based programme. This year, we will be moving to the community with the clear objective of disseminating the message of "One in Six" World Stroke Campaign. We will emphasize the fact that stroke can be prevented and stroke survivors can fully recover.

We will try and make people recognize the first symptoms of stroke, look for high blood pressure, diabetes or high blood cholesterol, be physically active and exercise regularly, avoid obesity, eat a healthy diet and avoid smoking. We will encourage everybody's contribution in the prevention and treatment of stroke.
