Here in Astana, we plan to continue introducing to doctors and administrative officers the conclusions of finished multi-center research on the real clinical practice of ischemic stroke management in the Republic of Kazakhstan, which was held in 4 big cities. We plan to open a Stroke Prevention Room in the Republic Diagnostic Center, including work with media, a master-class program (25 - 29.10.2010), which will be held with participation of specialists from other countries.

We offered Astana Cycling team to take part in World Stroke Day, as Alberto Contador is a goodwill ambassador of the World Stroke Organization, and he had the word "Astana" printed on his uniform. It inspires us to become leaders on the world action on 29th of October.
