This Tertiary Care Hospital in the Chitwan District is the only place running Neurology training in the country, in association with local NGO-Nepal Institute for Health and Research – and is actively planning the following events for the World Stroke day celebration this year:
- Media enlightenment on Radio/Local and National Newspaper
- Continued Medical Education on stroke
- Encourage everybody's contribution in the prevention and treatment of stroke
- Emphasize the need to establish regional stroke units in the country and bring it to the attention of the government
